"Brown, Tobiano Gelding, born Apr 12,
2003. 'Champ' is a full brother to Rose. Champ's mother was
our best cow horse and is now in Junction TX on the
Bierschwale Ranch herding sheep and cattle. Champ has a lot
of his mother's traits. We imprinted Champ at birth and he
only wants to please his owner. We gelded Champ at 11 months
old, we did not want 2 stallions. He is aggressive and fast
but is still a little timid around our bull. Michael Jacobs
has ridden Champ the most and believes he will make an
excellent roping horse. He herds cattle well and alerts on
them fast. I can put teenagers on Champ but not kids. I
believe Champ will develop anyway you want to train him:
roping, cutting, cow horse, jumping, dressage, barrels,
trail riding, pleasure. Champ and Ranger are pastured
together and they joust, run, and play for exercise. Champ
is a delightful horse! He normally runs across the pasture
to greet me at the gate when I go to bring him into his
stall." |
