Dagny is the oldest of my three mares. She was the
alpha mare but lost that to Shadow when they were 2yrs old.
Dagny has the most cow sense of all my horses. She is
spunky and a novice rider should not get on her. When she
was 4 we started roping with her. We dragged logs and
roped 'items'. Later Michael Jacobs cut out a calf, Dagny
chased him, Michael roped the calf, jumped off to help me take
the calf into the next pen. One would have thought she had
been doing this all her life! She is Carmen's horse and is
at home now in Junction TX on the Bierschwale Ranch. |
