" Black, Tobiano Filly, Born Feb 18,
2003. 'Grace' is a full sister to 'Dixie'; they are almost
identical with small differences in the color pattern. Grace
was imprinted at birth by Danny and Carletta Burrows. She
was halter trained, trailer trained, and would lead and
stand tied at 24 hours old. She has the best disposition and
wants to please her owner. All we have to do is show her
what is required and she responds. Three times is all it
takes to teach her something new. Michael Jacobs rode her
first, bareback without any bucking. He mistook Grace for
Dixie in the pasture. Normally Michael would halter Dixie,
hop on to ride in, and lead Grace beside. That day he rode
Grace by mistake! She was great! Grace will make anything
you want: roping horse, cow horse, jumping, dressage,
barrels, trail riding, pleasure. Grace is not as fast as
Dixie, but will work to keep up. We put kids on Grace when
we have nieces, nephews and friends join us for rides on the
trails." |
