The Believed Promises

The LORD JESUS CHRIST’S loving-kindness indeed never ceases, for His compassions never fail, they are new every morning; great is His faithfulness.  He has granted me His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them I might become a partaker of the divine nature. In everything, I give thanks, for this is God’s will for me in CHRIST JESUS.  It is good for me that I am afflicted, that I may learn Thy Statutes.  I delight myself in THE LORD; He will give me the desires of my heart.  I commit my ways to THE LORD.  I trust also in Him, and He will do it.  Let me therefore draw near with confidence to the Throne of Grace, that I may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.  He gives strength to the weary, and to Him who lacks might He increases power.  For I know that if I wait for THE LORD I will gain new strength; I will mount up with wings like eagles, I will run and not get tired, I will walk and not become weary.  For, I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.  Moreover, everything I ask in prayer, believing, I will receive.  For God has not given me a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
