Prayer
is simply talking to God. As believers in
the LORD Jesus Christ, prayer is one of our greatest assets.
The Word of God teaches us how to pray accurately. Children are
capable of learning how to pray at a very young age.
When a child learns how to pray the right way with the parent/teacher
reinforcing through teaching and training, the child will
learn and enjoy true fellowship and prosperity from
the LORD.
Essence of God
Book
"Where do I begin?" is the question
most parents ask when their child is beginning to show an
understanding of God, God-consciousness. A simple answer is, "In
the beginning, God." God (Deity) is a good place
to start. Almost every young child will ask in one form or another,
"Who is God?"
The Essence of God study includes the Trinity of
God and the characteristics or attributes of God through Scripture
verses the child can easily learn. Included are songs, a secondary
method of teaching and worshiping our Lord.

of Authority
God designed four systems of authority to govern our
lives:
- Freedom
of choice, we all have freewill, which we call volition
- Marriage,
with the husband leading
- Family,
with the parents leading with dad at the head
- Nation,
with the constitutional government leading
When
we follow God's design, we are prospered and happy,
"blessed." When we disregard God's design, we are
unhappy and miserable, "cursed." This simple book
teaches children God's plan and design for their lives. The
books include Bible verses and songs that reinforce the Biblical
truths of God's Word.

There are three books in this set. When we originally taught
these truths to our children, we made a body doll. Each child
designed his or her doll to look like him or herself. We used a
flesh colored fabric for the body and yarn for the hair. The face
was painted on with acrylic paints. Each doll was personalized.
Inside the body of each doll we glued a symbol for the old sin
nature and the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. The soul was a clear
mayonnaise jar (plastic is best). Into the jar we put the symbols
for the attributes or essence of the soul. The human spirit book was
made using gold contact paper over lightweight cardboard for the
cover and the inside included the verses and symbols for learning
and living the Word of God (spiritual life) after salvation. The
entire project was a great success and the students still have
their own personalized doll and books as future teaching tools and
pass downs.
